New Driving Licence photo needs updating dont forget £1000 fine!!

I thought they had abolished the idea of identity cards !!!!!!!

 

A grand, what next 3 points and a £60 fine. OK it needs to be up to date but that a lot of money for being yourself but slightly older.

 

I've only got my provisional from 1987... Is that still valid?

 

I renewed mine and they changed the photo on my licence (HGV) but not on my tachometer card. So my licence looks like a 50 yr old pervert on remand at Pentonville and my tachometer card looks like a member of a 80's boy band and neither looks like me.

 

and why if we want to hire a vehicle do we have to have the paper license and if you dont they charge you for ringing dvla, just another bleeding money spinner.

I've never had a photo card - only my paper one. This reminds me, since moving house, I haven't changed the address either

Also in over 30 years of driving, I have never been pulled over by the Police, never had a parking fine, never had an accident, never been breathalysed, never been caught speeding..... but then, I am a woman.................
