I'm looking for something I can tow with my Beach Buggy - fed up with pitching tents! If you're considering selling? Any idea of the weight of a Puck?

  3. I think they are 370kg unladen and 450kg laden weight, we got one recently and love it.:) I'm even thinking of putting a hitch on the beetle.

  4. Check out my for sale thread. As for weight, I can't remember the numbers but I do remember making sure my 1641cc could tow it.

  5. Why not tow the beach buggy behind the camper. Saves buying a f ing caravan.

Drive camper to lovely campsite near a beach, drive beach buggy on beach

No need to thank me for saving you thousands!

Thanks Paul. I know it doesn't make financial sense. I for one don't like seeing buggies being towed - I like to drive mine, even towing a caravan. I'm torn between a Puck and a Teardrop. Might even build a teardrop. It'd only get used a couple of times a year, so might be a bit of a pipe dream. By the way, hardly a beach left in the uk where you can drive a buggy. The bus will get loads of use - it'll be my daily after all (I only do a couple of thousand miles a year).

  7. Teardrop is the way forward for your I think Mark. Although, look in eBay loads of people sell half finished projects. And even finished ones for not a lot of money

I think you're right, although I'm getting a bit ahead of myself - MUST FINISH BUS FIRST!
