My first Beetle for 20 years, 61 Gulf Blue

if you don't mind me asking,,how much does a bug as gorgeous as yours cost? I was born in 1960 and have a slow burn desire to get a bug older than me and yours nearly is. I also completely love the whole cal look thing. yours is tremendous by the look of the photos. I am very tempted to start. the search proper and am interested to know what a close to sorted bug of that age costs.

i won the seats pictured above on ebay today, as well as a set of simpson black 4 point harnesses, just need to get them and add it to my list of jobs to do over winter

picked up a pretty decent rollcage as part of a deal on some BRMs ive bought for a mate, proper custom built cage, plan is to have it repainted in body colour

 

Looks more and more as a weekend warrior >
