Music in my van

  1. Thanks very much appreciate the info! So you think I am better just buying some decent car speakers a 12v amp and then bluetooth my iPhone to the head unit? If so any suggestions please for speakers and amps
    Thanks

  2. @physiopro - was the Pure Highway what was in your van last week? Whatever it was seemed very good. I'm on the verge of going to Halfords to get one this weekend.

If it is that model, is the DAB any good? I can't get a decent radio signal in my van - even with an inline electric aerial booster, so DAB is a big must have for me.

Oh and a general question - once you have a DIN plug for the radio then it's universal isn't it? I can just take out the current head unit, fiddle with the mounting cage and plug the new one in can't I?

  3. Hi sir Arthur

This is mine, I don't have an fm Ariel as I didn't want another hole in the van! I do lose the dab sometimes but I think that is more to do with the Ariel than the head unit! Other than that seems to be a good unit! Sorry but don't know about the universal socket! :)

    Sir Arthur likes this.

    Thanks

  5. Make sure you kill as much rattle and engine noise as you can else the best set up in the world will need to be loud when driving.
