Yes its repairable but it may need the box section chassis members repaired too as under the underseal there may be ... nothing...

@Flakey this is what I'm talking about

 

It may not be as bad as it seems
There’s a steel collar that goes between the tube and the chassis rail
These often rot out but if it’s gone further and the chassis rail and or tube are rotten it’s more work
You need to scrape all the underseal from the surrounding area and have a good poke about.

 

that should never have passed disgracefull and bloody dangerous

 

what about if it had been MOT exempt at least now @jivedubbin can do something about it

 

this is why i don t agree with mot excemption

 

Not really it does go to show how a mot not worth the paper it’s written on.
