Hi all can anyone recommend the best way to get a pair of type 1 heads cleaned up. I am thinking soda blasting but not sure of the best method. Valves will be out so don't want to damage the valve seats or should I leave the old valves in. Gonna fit new valves and guides anyway. Also anyone know of a company in the Bolton/manchester area?
Brilliant, thanks Paul. I will get them off to the blasters then. I have one already cut for 1776 and the other is still standard. Can you recommend which valves to put in. There seem to be 2 or 3 manufacturers. Are stainless steel ones the best?
