How strange, campers don't normally go rusty. It would look better with some white paint on everything.

I was trying to find some pics of the same repairs I took in primer and sealer, then top coat. Once the top coat was on the repairs disappeared. Looks good to me. Apart from the corrugation mismatch on the last pic.
A bit worse than yours and it got the side bits too as they hadn't been done. Sort of disappear in a comparative sense anyway...
I assume the repairs above are your work @zed , if so I was right to want you to work on my van and putting pictures like this up is tantamount to teasing.

I've offered him the other three and my body but he's still too busy. I need to find the guy that does Zeds website and give him a slap. Then set up some temporary roadworks diversion signs so his customers can't find Zeds garage. Then set fire to his house so he doesn't have to waste time selling it and then, just maybe, he won't be so busy and be able to fit me in. @zed just joking, I think I've found a welder and you can check the standard of his work next time we're camping.
Small matter of some derusting/stabilising and paint first. Chances are I will be gung ho to crack on then!!! Deadlines - Jolly boys outing required!
