Its not. Means that in order to get the capacity in the space provided they have skimped on the thickness of the lead plates and / or the space for bits to fall into below the plates. I have a 120AH battery in my garage and it is 510mm long and 223mm high. Weight 41kg. Too big for the bus. That Halfords one weighs 25kg..pah..lightweight.
Longer term that would be the answer, but if you added a BMS to a lead- acid battery you could easily increase its life span by disconnecting it on over and under charge.
