Finally accepted my leisure battery is goosed . Problem is that i can`t get down to the van and measure the battery tray ... Anyone able to measure the tray length between the light cluster and junction with the rear arch - pretty please ?? My current battery is approx 255mm long , the one i`m looking at is 352mm . ...at least Halfords will change it if it goes wrong -no questions asked - I have taken 2 back in the last 5 years as they only managed 3 years and they were guaranteed for 4 years.
The cynic in me can't help thinking their batteries aren't much good then! Having said that our bus has a Halfords battery that was already on there 7 years ago when we bought it and that's still going strong(he says with crossed fingers....)
