No, you're right: that was a human error, made my myself, whilst putting an email together.
I misunderstood your previous post and thought that you were referring to pricing errors on our website which pop up from time to time, and was in no way trying to pass my mistake off as a computing bug.

I get a great on-line price for one particular sought after item at the moment. I'm thinking of buying your entire stock and selling them on here at 2x the price.

 

I brought the propex kit when it was suppose to be 10% off expecting the kit to turn up (in fact I ordered 2, one for a local charity) and just the propex turned up, no kit - I just took it.... Couldn't be arsed to complain but not spent any funds with JK since....

Perhaps if I had read these forums back in December and knowing what I now know, I probably would have!

Why didn't you complain? Surely you'd have got the missing bits, thats always been my experience with any company worthy of the name, not just JK.

 

I didn't see the point and couldn't be arsed either if truly honest - I just went to the local GT towing and picked up the bits from them.

I suppose looking back and thinking about it and after reading stuff on here I should have.

I think companies should give a voucher or something to people that find errors that could have been quite costly if unnoticed.

 

Jeez, do some of you guys know how hard it is to run a medium to large size business, especially one that has several thousand items to keep tabs on, and because it's pretty large outfit, relies on quite a few different human beings to keep the chain going !!!! We are human and things go wrong, and us being British love to moan when they do, it's in our nature. Think of how many hundreds may be thousands of items JK supply every week to very happy people, but being British we rarely jump straight on a forum to say how delighted we are . Face it gang, everyone makes mistakes, and if they then take steps to sort it out, and occasionally compensate, then bravo theres many a big corporation that would'nt bother, and yet we have young Josh here taking loads of grief and dealing with it, good on you fella.......

@gazman - that's why JK employ staff and lots off them, it's not like they put a whole website up overnight or just though they would put 000's of items on offer - everyone makes mistakes, but when your suppose to have people put the emails/offers together and then others proof read, there really isn't much excuse of simple errors..
