Typical. 2 weeks ago, I had a week off with a bruised ligament in my right foot. Had a week off. Felt better on Tuesday, so went back to work ( walked 8.8 miles behind a lawnmower in 3 different residence’s, big lawns). Over compensating onto the other foot, because of the injury, which is actually a lot better… Now this. Something went ‘ping’ in my left foot. Bleeding typical, as the weather is getting better. (You ever tried taping up your own ankle? Glad the belly is smaller, hard to reach as it is…Luckily, still have a load of pain killers from the other foot. Walked on it a bit, but got a sharp pain in it). Oh well…
Theres nowt wrong with yorkshire folk , always in good health ,though i am begining to wonder if one of my testicals should be so much bigger than the other three .
A distinct lack of celtic genes results in shiny girls legs. Bet there's some serious male grooming going on, with this tough, out-door image as a closet cover.......
I’m just not a hairy person. Didn’t really start shaving until I was late ‘20’s. Glad about it, too. Mate of mine is as bald as a coot, but has his back waxed every three weeks. Dunno what’s going on there… Either way, ankle still bloody hurts.
Time to see a doctor - might have pinged something important. No point in being a working class hero, all the medals are gone.....
Yup…as I thought. Sprained it. Oh well. Hope there is some good daytime telly for the next week or two. Just that trick of trying to tell myself that I’m not letting people down, being self employed, and getting used to climbing the walls again……
It’s Sod’s Law that any injuries come just when work is all planned to crack on with Can you sort out your shed/paperwork/tools etc so good to go as soon as you’re fit again?
