Is my front beam dead?

  1. Might be worth a look.

  2. Does your beam have a servo bracket?

  3. Nope. I fancied getting a beam with one, but it is not essential. I find the brakes OK as I have front discs.

  4. No idea chap. Just know they are doing the stock 2nd hand beams.

  5. Mine has now been welded in four places so am looking to replace it before the MOT in June. I have messaged a couple of VW places near me. Will hopefully find out after Easter. I do not have the time to attempt this myself.

  6. Mine has already been lowered by about 2 inches. So this could be fine.

I did mine it was worse than that, it passes the MOT every year, I think you've done a good job, stop worrying, just give the garage a box of biscuits for their tea break

  9. I might run it by the garage for their opinion (with biscuits!). I am still thinking of changing it anyway as I use it as part of a wedding business.

  19. Has anyone got one of the beams mentioned in this thread? What do you think if it? I know red9s are supposed to be brilliant, but I can't stretch the budget that far.
