Nope. I fancied getting a beam with one, but it is not essential. I find the brakes OK as I have front discs. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
Mine has now been welded in four places so am looking to replace it before the MOT in June. I have messaged a couple of VW places near me. Will hopefully find out after Easter. I do not have the time to attempt this myself. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
If you run at stock height that's no good, they've been a little economical with the truth by saying it's a direct replacement but also saying it won't run at stock height.
Mine has already been lowered by about 2 inches. So this could be fine. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
I did mine it was worse than that, it passes the MOT every year, I think you've done a good job, stop worrying, just give the garage a box of biscuits for their tea break
I might run it by the garage for their opinion (with biscuits!). I am still thinking of changing it anyway as I use it as part of a wedding business. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
A day's work to swap a beam on and off. I did mine on my own after owning the bus for about two weeks!! Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Right then! That beam is screwed in the skip with it I say You can get a Brand new standard width adjustable Weedeater 2 Beam from Creative Engineering for c£550 You don't need no s/h painted up but inside is ginger nuts beam Or coil over red thing
Graham at Midland EB is the stockist for French slammer I thought the dude wanted a near stock replacement
Has anyone got one of the beams mentioned in this thread? What do you think if it? I know red9s are supposed to be brilliant, but I can't stretch the budget that far.
