I can only say about mine but it went into the slot perfectly. New stuff has a dim plug on the back for the wires, obviously a bay doesn't have a corresponding socket so all I did was cut the plug off and wire it manually
Nice one, thanks very much. A new radio is on my immediate must get list as soon as the bus is handed with us, I love the idea of plugging in the phone for tunes as well as charging it. I take the point about wanting control stright from the pop / phone, it's much easier
