Yes. That is the final solution I went for. Simple and effective. Just don't ask me what it's from for I've no idea. I was rummaging around the workshop and found it but it does look like something that holds a bulb in a light. Possibly. Possibly not. With regards to the window restrictive that too. I've not found one as easy to use. There are some that you have to unscrew something to get it to open etc and will make it safer if you like to sleep with the rear door ajar but I prefer this set up. In an emergency there is no messing around (unless you are Poptop2).
