    Nice h0w to Stu

I will now venture into your van in the sure knowledge you won't bum me cos I now know where the escape hatch is:thumbsup:

  2. So is this the final solution you went for? What about the window restrictor?

  3. That's just wishful thinking on your part PT2....I can picture the scene...."Oh no, Stu! Please don't!....I'm not that type of guy..... Oh! you've got an escape hatch!...I'll just have to bend over on my hands and knees to reach for it.......Oh no! I just can't quite reach it.....Oh! my hand keeps slipping off the handle...Oh My!....it doesn't seem to be working......"

Yes. That is the final solution I went for. Simple and effective. Just don't ask me what it's from for I've no idea. I was rummaging around the workshop and found it but it does look like something that holds a bulb in a light. Possibly. Possibly not.

With regards to the window restrictive that too. I've not found one as easy to use. There are some that you have to unscrew something to get it to open etc and will make it safer if you like to sleep with the rear door ajar but I prefer this set up. In an emergency there is no messing around (unless you are Poptop2).
