Afternoon all, Not my bus, but a mates late US import, 2.0 FI. Apparently about 2 years ago there was banging from the back end, not effected by speed, but stopped when the clutch was pressed. This stopped so Andy did nothing to investigate what it was. Last week the same happened again. Cruising at 60 - 65, banging from rear end (he thinks left hand side), not affected by speed, stops if the clutch is pressed. Any idea where to look? Thanks all Doug
CV joint... Sounds daft, but check them for play.... I had one that would make the van shake at around 60mph... lift off or drop the clutch and it would stop!!
