Innapropriate behaviour

I have been attending dub shows for a fair few years now and large quantaties of alcohol being consumed seems to be the norm
Smoking of weed also for many seems to go hand in hand with the dub scene

I have been in many enviroments where people have drank excessivly and used drugs what set the dub scene apart from the other enviroments for me
was the [glow=red,2,300]FACT[/glow] that whilst dubbers were intoxicated they still had respect,tolerance and understanding for others

No one should be pushed to consume more alcohol than they want to and ive been saying for years that people should carry fire extinguishers with them if they are going to use a fire pit
I myself carry a number of small extinguishers with me and came close to needing one at camperjam one year when a chinese flying lantern nearly landed on the wilmas bus

 

I think you've had a bad weekend and come on here to vent but surely it wasn't everyone flouting about wasted and swearing, I admit I don't like swearing in front of children so I get your drift ob that...but the fire safety thing that's just crazy...of all the places I've ever camped there has never been a fire bucket.or.fire extinguisher near by... There are plenty of adults there who can surely manage a small fire...

As for people.going there and.drinking I.think that is entirely their choice and.of.it.isn't your bag you know not to go to.meets.with these people.in.future, I wouldn't let it put Tou off all together but some people work their bum off all week and go to these meets to completely unwind and if that's how they do it then fine, but you know that they aren't for you n future... Not advocating being violent/aggressive/rude when drunk.

Life is like this, you live and learn and know it isn't your bag and will avoid camping with the ''culprits''...

Again sorry you haven't had a good time but things aren't always perfect... Hope you have better experiences with other TLB members x

 

OK OK OK ILL COME CLEAN.
it was another legendary night with woody , bumpnudger and johno
a great laugh with copeouse amounts of alcohol to keep out the cold.
shame we ca,nt say the same about woodys taste in music but he wont be told.
in defence of bumpnudger , he did turn in at about 9 pm (pink duvet )
The three lads were a credit and new how to have a good time

 

Its so funny how some of the usual subjects jump straight in innit some of you need to get out camping more then you'll see what your buses are for
