I was joking i thought that was obvious , especially when i said i had special privileges , i ve removed it for you wood cheer up it cant be worse than movin sarf
The big parliamentary debate as just started, I'm not sure that Jeremy Corbyn shouting his red rhetoric from the despatch box is gonna do Cameron and the IN side any big favours, I reckon most Tories will vote against it just so as to not to side with him
He can't help himself, it's impossible for him to agree completely with Cameron as he would then have to call himself Tory Scum.
I was listening too, dead right. I'm disappointed he's turned out to be so lacking in debating style, he and his worshippers claimed he would rise above it.
I also think that when Mr Average realises that most of the un elected Eurocrats that run the big over bloated E.U bureaucracy are like Corbyn, that that will also turn them away from voting IN
I'm firmly in the out camp myself. However, changes would be marginal I think. It's the start of change but what we need is revolution (as Zed has already said). I now dread the next few months where we have to listen to politicians lie and avoid answering questions in order to massage their egos/agendas.
Nobody with half a brain will listen to any arguements as we all know it will be biased crud. Really, if anyone doesn't already know how they feel about the eu after 40 odd years of it, they will be even more baffled by the time of the vote. That's the job of the politicians - baffle everyone with lies and selected meaningless numbers. All this crap about people claiming child benifit and sending it home - the amount per year is less that it cost per day to be in the EU. It's really not a lot of money in the greater scheme of things and focussing on it is political only, an atempt to set the scene - Cameron thought as it was so little he'd easily get approval to stop it and claim some great victory.
Apparently this information comes from HMRC Our net contribution to the EU is £11bn. Our exports to the EU are £230bn Our imports from the EU are £290bn .... so who needs who most? Non-EU Exports for December 2015 are £17.1 billion. This is an increase of £3.1 billion (22 per cent) compared with last month and an increase of £3.0 billion (22 per cent) compared with December 2014. The proportion of total exports to the EU is 38 per cent in December 2015." So our exports to Non-EU countries are rising and the EU only accounts for 38% of our business anyway.
Vote out then brick up the tunnel. Let's get the Hover Crafts running again. I'd love to see some illegal immigrants clinging to the outside of one of them things.
so we now have uncertainty as to whichever way the vote will go and sterling has taken a dip as a result, and due to that happening makes our goods cheaper ,so things are looking up For now
The pound falling means we are poorer, it's like an international pay cut. Everything imported goes up in price (including the raw materials our industry buys), so it's just the labour element that is cheaper. Anyone voting for a pay cut?
foreign investors love a bit if cheap labour ,perhaps that might stop jags being made in India and minis not shifting to Germany
No, now we have some currency dealers making a quick killing my manipulating the market. Share prices didn't fall. Funny that.
