Did Scotland just win the world Cup? Did they get to the final? Semi? (well done Wales) Did I miss something?
Out played on every tactical level. With faff being the player of the tournament. If sink had not been knocked out it would have been much closer

Was moving house earlier so only just seen the game. Have to say the two try’s from SA were top class pieces of play. The Bokke are never anything other that massive smashes and pain at set piece....England have got lighter and more agile forwards which is great when you keep possession. But they didn’t, and couldn’t. Wales’ injury list after the semi final bears testimony to how much pain the Bokkes inflict. I think Gatland was bang on, looks like games such as the Enzed one are once in a generation performances even for England. I’d be less happy had it been a tight dreary game, but our first Black World Cup winning captain, leading a team that knew how to win it isn’t all bad.
I have friends in SA . The whole country is undergoing incredible political termoil at the moment , makes our Brexit debacle look like a minor kindergarden spat ... Not going into details but the message i got was "Our country needed this , we didn`t just want it , we NEEDED it !!" Hopefully the SA win will help defuse the tension and draw people together . Up until the Mendella years rugby and indeed cricket were always seen as an `elitest` whites only sport .To the people living through all the uncertainty of the last couple of years the fact a black kid , brought up in a township went on to captain the team and then win the world cup truly gives inspiration to millions To England , this was a game to win , to the South Africans it means far more than a game of rugby - they were playing to unite their country , if only for a few months . It was massive over there .
