  4. I think karma was good when it was awarded for something useful .....but as baysearcher said - the meaning of it could get watered down a bit

I guess karma points ment different things to different people

A mate of mine is a member of a mercadies forum (is that how you spell Mercadies?) and they have a 'thanks' button which is similar to our karma. You would think the purporse of it would be pretty clear but apparently they have the same 'discussions' as us regarding the 'thanks' lol so its not just us :D

Karma probably is the wrong word by the dictionary definition, i can't argue with that, but I did like the system and it was useful.

I don't want to disappoint you, but Malc claimed most smited title before the rework (after Illdoit), you did in fact get the most 69s though, so some consolation:p

  17. Agree with some of the comments said here, especially Para's last one, however one thing Karma really helped us with was when buying something from someone - you could see if there was any previous sales people had commented on to know whether to buy from them or not. Not sure now without asking people directly that have already replied on a for sale thread how you get an idea of that.

Sorry - this comment of Para's:

I liked the fact my karma points were pretty much all genuine, and were at about a 10% ratio against my post count, no karma whoring here!
