I 'Like' Karma

and will miss it!
and am not ashamed to say it

I wouldn't consider myself a Karma whore but I did like my Karma and was very proud of the comments that were posted along with it. I also liked to view other peolpes karma as it helped me get a feel for what they were like before you really got to know them. It was also of some use as trading feedback and let me know if any sellers were a bit of a Richard. I think some karma was well earned and recognised the extra effort some members put into the forum. I 'liked' Karma

Not much has been said about it so far. What is your view?

 

I'm slightly gutted it's gone - used to get all giddy when I logged on and I'd got some (oo er)

 

Lola, most people can't admit that they liked the karma thing. Loads will search for it and all they will find is this thread, yes it did give a little boost to get some and it was a good way of posting unmoderated stuff into someones profile

 

I think it is a shame - I enjoyed giving karma to people who entertained me or made me laugh. The messages were the best bit

Have a like instead and yes the comments were really what it was really about!

 

I didn't take much notice of it and it was abused sometimes
I believe if you go posting just to get Karma then you don't deserve it so it make no difference that its no loner there

As a bonus we can post things about clowns

I'll miss it, it is a shame it has been discarded for the 'like' thing its a bit too facebook and i dont 'like' facebook.

I cant quite bring myself to post a picture of clowns (that will kill you) in case the headmaster see's it so i'll just post this:

I used to like logging on to find id had some karma awarded for a comment id made the previous evening it gave my mornings a lift
I also used to go through my karma log and read all the nice coments if i was feeling down or my confidence was low

I little dicky bird did tell me this version of the forum does have the facility for a chat box though

 

Post count is still there, click on usernames/avatars for peoples info post count is just called messages.

Yes, that probably did devalue the Karma point a little! that's why the comments were important.
