I've always had a hankering for a 411/2

Might add one to the fleet one day

 

There's only 51 412 LE/LS Variants left in the country, took me eight years to find one after starting to look...

 

This'll make you sick then...

There was/is a guy up here who had a collection of 411s, mostly stored in a farmers barn... farm got sold, guy was told to move them and he didn't, so the scrap man got them instead

Proper gutted, as I knew where one of them was too!!

Yes, Paul, proper gutted, things like that happen and the particular VW community interested in them never finds out before its too late.

The generator light is on all the time in the T3, started just before Christmas, stayed on when I first started it, blipped the throttle and it went out, but ten minutes into the journey it came back on and stayed on, when I got to where I was going the generator was cold.

I've ordered a set of Carbon Brushes for the Dynamo as a first fix...

 

@Lord Charles what happened to the orange one you had?

 

Currently has two 412s on the driveway...one with MoT...woo hoo!!!
