Bumping this to ask if anyone can offer any tips on how the hell to get the kador strip into the figure 8 attachment? Mine is unbelievably tight and I gave up after only getting one strip on halfway, despite using washing up liquid to try and lubricate it!!
Been given an outdoor revolution Naviator awning,anyone know how easy they are to put up and are they any good,beggars can't be choosers I know
Tried silicon spray which helped but now use pole and clamp system,which just slides into the special sleeve on the awning and much easyier to place on gutter
My khyam was like this, took ages to fit - not to mention every ounce of strength and skin on my hands. I spent a bit of time warming the figure 8s and stretching them out a bit which helped a bit. I've just got a new awning and new figure 8s and they slide on with ease and fit perfectly so I'm wondering if I've got lucky this time or if all the faff last time was really needed.
Sorted! Trial fit of awning yesterday, used pole and clamp as suggested so simple, quick and secure. The awning that came with the bus is also in decent condition, so a result all round. Camping later this week maybe Shell Island or Devon depending on where it's going to be sunny. Thanks again guys
