Had one years ago used it from new as a builders tow vehicle never had a tyre replaced in five years, 2nd week i had it i took it to a job where it was easier to get to by fording the river severn, it had to work for its keep that motor.

  3. big, low profile tyres are scary money. A mate has a dirty great Audi Q7 with big wheels and he was quoted £1600 for four new tyres.

  5. motorbike tyres are almost as big a running cost as petrol for most big bikes. Good tyres cost maybe £260 a pair, last 3000 miles tops. that's 9p a mile. my bike does 35mpg so that's 17p a mile on fuel assuming £1.35 a litre.

    Bargain Bus Tyres!

  8. 50 quid seems to be a popular price for any tyres I buy. 185/60/R14's on the Seat are about that, and 185/14C's for the bus were that price, last time I bought some.
