High biting point

  1. I put a new clutch cable in and now the biting point feels much higher, close to the top of the pedal lift. Tried tightening the wingnut but hasn't made any noticeable difference? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

  2. yeah, you need to loosen the wing nut, not tighten it!!

  3. Ha ha the wingnut is very close to the end of the screw rod though! A JK clutch cable kit

  4. Hmm... fancy pulling the cable and measuring it?? It should be 3215mm long

Also, are the any spacers on the end of the flexi bowden tube??

  5. No spacers on the Bowden tube and its a 3215 cable! Can't get the wingnut back on now!!

  6. You may need a spacer between the butterfly nut and the arm...despite probably having the apparently correct length of clutch cable it is quite possible to run out of adjustment on the screwed section.

  10.

Yeah, no washer needed... the radius-ed face on the wing nut is elliptical, so it cannot rotate in the release arm!!

You should be able to get the grommets from heritage/coolair/C&C
