  9. Hi there everyone, got my pics on but didnt know where to put them so started a new thread on show us your ride. Hope that was right!

  10. this thread has confused me - I thought mine was a devon, but looking at the brochures it seems not so. I believe I have a moonraker roof (full length, hinged at one side). Any ideas?

  11. Hi welcome aboard, good job Andy is a mechanic, he will have loads of fun working on these machines, good luck with the resto, it is a labour of love but loads of fun to be had too. Enjoy there is lots of info and willing advice to be had from this site.

  12. have a read of the 'things every new owner needs to know' section!

  13. have you got pictures of your bus on here? The late 1979/80 Devon Moonrakers did have a full roof. It is possible the interior could have been changed over the years if it doesn't match the ones shown in the brochures. It is also possible that someone has put a Devon roof on as a replacement at some point. My old van had a Devon roof but was totally the wrong one for it's year. Post up a thread with some pics of the bus and its interior and I'm sure we can between us work out what you've got :)

  14. Hello from a new bay owner too. Have fun.

  18. Howdy there, love the passion you have for your bus, we are also are reasonably new and have no idea but not all the gear ............yet

  19. Hi, Sunny (joke) Jersey.
'Gotcha', has joined a small commune of buses on the Island. I'd advertised extensively to find one locally - however, I'd been advised that with the small number (approx. 30) here & everyone holding on to them to either restore or locate one elsewhere. Ebay paid off - Gotcha! in more than name.
Looking forward to reading more posts & adding some comment & shots.
Did you find many buses in Guernsey?
