Alright fellows, going white noise tomorrow and old lizzy has popped a nice giant size oil patch on my drive think its the crank seal behind the fan, got the bits, got the tools except for a puller to pull the fan hub of with! Mines to big ( snigger ) to fit. Anyone near rainham Essex how has one I can borra? Really need it tonight if poss...... Help please anyone
The hub seal is above the oil level so won't have leaked a big patch on your drive... unless your carbs have filled the engine with petrol. Perhaps the leak lies elsewhere?
Oh bugger! That means it might be the crankcase leaking Oils good no petrol smells and on level Was hoping an easy fix before the holiday adventure
