What you really want is a set of genuine 70s ones, they don't go rusty.

was nice to speak to you, and thanks for the one you have, will see if jamesley has a pair, saves me looking for just one.

 

The ones jamesley has, are early ones. If you want to pm me for the one you have, I'd appreciate it.

 

Crossover and early lates have the three screw rim. Late ones on brit buses are chrome on plastic which is fitvand forget and doesn't go rusty. Metal ones were avilable but im unsure as to what they were fitted to other than brazil buses. I assume your changing to later lights otherwise it wouldnt make semse as early rims are integral to the light. Late ones are just a trim around the light that screws to the headlamp bowl.

 

Yes I did have early lights fitted, but updated to late ones. It seems a shame the earlier ones don't fit.
