WANTED headlight surround

Hello.
After a pair of late headlight rims. After changing Glenda's early lights to late lights, I had no idea that there would be a difference between early and late rims!

No one got a pair, maybe in a box in a garage or shed, back of the sofa?

Otherwise extravagantly overpriced carpbay it is.

 

Why cant you fit your early ones?

 

I have a few headlamp rims. Post up a picture pointing out the differences and I will let you know

 

There is a gap around the light itself, as the early ones seem to fit the ovalness of the earlier lights. Hope that makes sense

 

The late bay rims have only one screw hole where the fit into headlamp bowl. The early one's have three holes.

Hi, I really don't mind, the cheaper the better though

 

79 should fit, mines a 74, so had the later lights.

 

My 72 Cross.over had 3 as well.

 

well ive got a ratty one on my nearside (cant remember if theyre handed) you can have foc if you want, as ive a nicer one waiting to put on. sorry you cant have my nicer one
can get a pic tomorrow if you want to see how ratty it is

I have a few which I offered to a girl on VZi for her Beetle rebuild after the vandals trashed it but that was about 2 years ago and the rebuild thread died off and I don't know what happened to it after that.
So these are no good for you then?
