The grey tree destroying rats we have in the UK have driven them out of Shropshire, only place I have seen them in England is Cumbria. Do you have the vermin that is the grey variety over there?

  20. Just by Liverpool, a place called Altcar, they have a strong hold. They are quite common there. It is a military training area and when you go to use the area that is the main part of the briefis about the conservation of the squirrels. To the point that if you find a dead one you have to take it to either the RSPCA or the local vet so that they can conduct an autopsy to descover the reason for it dieing (disease etc)
I know they are called red squirrels but i didn't realise how red they are and how small compared to the grey.
