Hi guys, bought my '73 bay on a bit of an impulse two years ago. Woke up one Sunday morning, fancied one and had a look on Gumtree. Looked at my first van on the Tuesday and had bought her the next day. No idea what I was letting myself in for. Two years on and I am determined she is going to be all shiny and new for the summer of '17. Turning heads wherever she goes.

Really hoping to push things on with my bay after 2 years tearing her apart and now she's ready for some primer and a shiny new coat of sparkly blue metal flake paint. Sorry to all the guys who may think I'm ruining a vintage vehicle by making her so non-stock.

Thanks Flakey. I appreciate the warm welcome from all of you. Just popped up some pics in the show us your ride section on a few of the trials and tribulations to get this far with Catriona and a nice opportunity to thank some amazing people who have helped get her to the point of priming and painting over the next couple of weeks.
