We like to SCUBA dive when we get the chance, not done much in the last few years because of the kids but hope to do more as they get older...
My other main hobby is Horology, well, actually collecting watches, mainly vintage dive watches but whatever takes my fancy really, but generally vintage dive watches.. And I also like to try to take decent photos of them, harder than it sounds.......
The watches have started to take a bit of a back seat to the new money drain in my life.. The van ...

I can play the guitar, and the bass, but they gather dust these days as I never have the time to play them.

I've also got a couple of SLR's, an old Praktica that was my grandad's, and a Sony DSLR but I'm just starting to learn how to use them properly (and I don't get the time for this either.... )

 

Like jasonm I like scuba diving, but not been for a for a few years due to children. Funny how children have the same effect on people. I am going to start to dive again.
Have just bought some inflatable kayaks/ canoes and we have all been going out in them.

 

I coached women's rugby for 14 years, don't do it anymore though.

 

Only have time for one hobby. Kart racing. And I'm damn quick! Fancy a race? Am hoping to get my almost 3 year old son involved in a couple of years. The next Lewis Hamilton? Not sure about that as his predicted adult height is set at 'well over 6 foot 5 inches'. Anything over 6'1'' and you can kiss goodbye to any hopes of an F1 career.

 

Ducati motorcycles are my passion. I have two. A 1998 916 and a 2011 1198. I also like astronomy and built my own 10" newtonian refractor. My new foray into camper vans sees this going mobile. Ive also a small meade scope which i intend to take in the bus too. Ive also taken strongly to fettling the camper. After giving up old lambrettas many years ago, i'd forgotten how much fun it is playing around with aircooled engines. I intend to build a new engine. A long stroke t1 of some description.


Jasonm, love the watches. i have an old 1945 Breitling chronograph #777 in rose gold. Originally grandads, then dads, now mine. Too scared to wear it incase i lose it. Love that 1st watch. what is it? Bet diving is fun.
