Got another Hobby other than VW's ?

My other hobby is bin lorry spotting . But I don't take pics if there's any fanny about

 

well i suppose its D.i.y. as i seem not to be doing anything else at the moment. even my beetle feels neglected.

 

Fishing and Photography

 

Muff diving

 

Carp fishing and Surfing love them both as much as each other.

 

Motorcycling, cars in general (current daily driver is a Lotus Elise), golf (started this year, not very good). Most of my time is spent on the kids / house / garden. I don't really regard DIY and gardening as hobbies, more as things that I have to do.

 

Usual bloke stuff...fishing (did a fab Catfish jaunt to Spain a couple of years ago).


(Mind you, the carp fishing was even better) played guitar in a band for 15 years



(No, that's not me, it's Robin trower having discovered how much the welding on his Bay is going to cost...)

but, like Ricky I haven't played for a few years now. Still go and watch live music at every opportunity (Zappa plays Zappa is my next gig 8) )

Played football twice a week until my hips gave in and I had to have one replaced....took up swimming to replace the football. I hate swimming, but I keep going and have done some fab 'Wild Swims' to keep up the interest.




If you look closely you will see I am wearing two wetsuits...I feel the cold easily ;D .

Have kept Marine and Freshwater Tropicals for years and am a qualified Scuba diver. Would love to do more of that but can't afford the time and money at the moment.
Err...that's about it.

Would love to be able to play the drums...I've got a kit in the shed.

I play in a band. Running (when I can be arsed), drawing (occasionally) and photography.

 

Mountain Biking though to be honest not been out for a good proper ride for a while now.

Snowboarding, used to be a regular at MK but down to one trip to the alps and the occasional indoor session.

Play a bit of guitar with a few mates for our own amusement rather than a proper band.

 

camping and fell walking

foraging, eating foraged food/making it into alcohol

kissing the Puca (favourite and most time- consuming hobby)

a bit of cheeky crocheting

reading, mostly crime fiction

Hoping to learn the guitar this winter...have a nice acoustic but just need to summon up the patience to learn!

 

Gardening...

I used to hate it... ;D

Exploring the area on my mountain bike at least once a week, but still lost en france.. :-[

Drinking at my bar... ;D

and of course browsing forums.. 8)
