Anyone got a good known running 1700 type 4 engine for sale, complete (not a problem if missing carbs, exhaust, dizzy, tinware). Think my engine needs work & trying to decide whether to keep the bus or sell as is - if I get a good engine offer may keep. Thanks.
to give you a ball park idea of what an engine is going to cost you.... they currently vary in price from £250 up to around £600/£700 Alternatively I can rebuild your engine... rebuild prices start at £1000 for a basic rebuild... PM me if you want some more info
Iv got an 1800 block thats got 1700 barrells and pistons on that has only done around 1,000 miles- its sat under my bench in the garage that iv kept as a spare, i can hook it upto a gearbox and get it started, looking for £500 complete. pm me if intrested. paul in blackpool
