Ok so the steering box is on The accelerator rod is now the right way round. I swapped out the empi shifter for the original everythings looking cool The wife says can we go Asda in her... With a smug look on my face i said "Can We" Yep got down bottom of the road and she won't go in 3rd or 4th Reverse 1st 2nd ok What do i need to do guys Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
Adjust the plate in the cab, pop it in second, undo the two bolts & move the plate slightly. Re-tighten. Check you can get reverse, third & fourth.... if not adjust again
Zed Snot I know adjust it but duno what way left right up down ??? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Why is it rubbish and better in the bin? The empi shifter i had in worked ok but fitst gear hit the handbrake and i had to stretch to change gears. But the original just feels nicer also has an extension on it for short arses. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
The normsl procedure is to line up second gear, check it pulls forward into first by pulling the stick forward. Then third/ fourth should be in the correct place. But.. e.g. on my EMPI shifter, the gate wore 0.5mm too wide and 3rd/4th was a little to the left of the guidance of the edge of the gate, impossible to find until I welded a plate in to reduce the side to side travel of the gear stick. Yes it hits the hand brake too, unless the handbrake is adjusted to 5 notches or so. .
No, I quite like them. Put in 2nd, loosen the 2 bolts, push the lockout plate to the right until it hits the gear stick, tighten bolts.
Actually nowt wrong with those quick shift plates They make a nice and noticeable improvement over the stock shift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
