OK. I have bought 10 Viton o-rings measuring 77mm x 4mm. I'll need one, so there's 9 up for grabs. I'm asking £2 each, as that'll cover what I paid for them and the price of a stamp. Seems reasonable to me. If you'd like one, PM me.
What are the red ones made of ? Silicone? With my taco plate ,the temp ranges from 80 in traffic jams to 110 on hills and around 100 motorway .how accurate that is I don't know but as a guide it is surprising and interesting to watch it at different driving conditions
Not sure. Can't find out anywhere. The ones I've bought are good up to 200 odd degrees, so should be more than up to the job.

Oh - fair enough! Having never removed one, I assumed the plate protruded from the engine. In that case the electrical terminal is just facing the wrong way in this pic: View attachment 28697
