  4. Standard size garage and a tin top just fits. Try lowering the tyres and throwing a few bags of sand into the bus.

Mine is a very snug fit.

  5. you lucky people with large garages...i suppose im luck to have at least a garage to keep the snail in. the snail would not be in as good condition if i didnt have a garage. just a shame its too small to work on the van in and if i put any weight on i might not be able to get out the door as is such a narrow garage. i have to touch the end wall with the bumper or the door wont shut.

  10. Seems you get more for your money on the west side of the country,my garage is a dinning room so I pay for a unit 'I got it for work reasons honest' but if you do need storage anyone in the south the place I use will charge you £40 ish a month with 24hr security in a massive enclosed barn I can get details :smiley_dog_kiss:

Fits a treat in my standard size garage but mines a tin top.

  12. So it turned out that the flat we have moved into doesn't come with a garage after all. So another year out in the elements it is then...

  13. I'm not a million miles from you (Lee) and I'm always looking for somewhere to park up. This winter I put our bus in to storage. I think that I may have to look for something a bit bigger and then try to sub-let; if I find anything I'll let you know.

  14. Thank you that would be really good. He's currently on my parents driveway and I'm sure they'd like to be rid of it. 😦

  15. our next house will have a bigger garage. i cant be doing with not being able to work on the bus in the dry at home, the saving grace is having an understanding boss that is ok with me working on it during quiet times!!

the bus only fits because we now have an oversize door, and a 4-5" lowered bus!
