I wouldnt be surprised if 3D will die off. I read an article somewhere not so long ago, but forget where, that SKY have put a plan together to get out of their 3D service as its a loss making service which they dont think they can turn around, and apparently the movie studios are lowering the number of movies produced in a 3D format due to cost. Super HD TV's are supposed to be the next generation. And as others have posted, more rubbish and repeats on the things!!
More longer ad breaks! They seem to be getting longer and longer and the programmes even shorter! Also i think we'll see more programmes getting pulled without reason. Shameless got pulled rather quickly this series as did Pete Verses Life

I always maintain that you have to have HD eyes in order to appreciate HD TV -I don't and consequently don't really notice much difference lol
i thought that 3D tv had be viewed from 10 ft away to get full appreciation, thats why at the shops the 3D glasses that are on a stand are such distance from the screen. i know my living room is not big enough for 3D i think the future should be in projection, id love a projector so much space saved without a tv
more 'point and laugh' programming with audience participation via voting until we get to public floggings. the future as started by the romans :/
I like watching movies and the odd programme but I have to say I'm not fussed by the latest techno developments...standard tele has been okay for me for years really. But cool if you're into it.
