Can I suggest that if you do fit one you just put a single self tapper slap bang in the middle so you can rotate it to the correct position to prevent your wonky badge annoying the crepe out of everyone when you post a picture of it!
oh no, what have I done? Sparked a riot - but before it gets out of hand, can anyone who has one fitted tell me how they got around the hole issue - can you space the badge just right so it covers the original fixing holes - I take it there are 3 of them then ? My bodywork is all original.
Someone here got one and stuck it on a plastic disc the same colour as the van and then stuck that to the van, looked very nice Stick it on wonky as well to p1ss off the weirdos
How is the original badge held on - I mean are there star washers on the back of the 3 prongs? My late badge is currently held on with a self tapper in the middle & 1 prong I think!
On lates, there are three plastic clips that push in to holes in the front panel. The outer halves of the clips have little grippy jaws that clip onto flat bits in the badge moulding.
