Free massive meet @ Brands Hatch

Hi all I just spotted this on a VW events page and thought I would put this here. Volksworld magazine are celebrating 25 years and want to get a buckets load of dub down to brands hatch race course.

Shame it is a Thursday evening but it is a freebie and you can camp for a tenner..

Anyway is anyone up for this

We have been asked by many of you if you can camp at Brands Hatch on the Thursday eve. After speaking to the owners of the circuit, they have said that they will lay on simple camping at £12.00 per vehicle, but only if we can get enough people together. If you would like to camp, can you please email adrian_vaughan@ipcmedia.com to register your interest - we cannot promise anything at the moment as camping will depend on how much interest we get.

Should be a good event. might be worth arranging a cruise for this. if there is any interest in this event.

OK it seems a few are interested in this event. I am awaiting holiday leave to be granted for this and will then try and sort out a little cruise down to Brands hatch if anyone is interested..

I am supposed to be going to France that weekend on bikes with my mates. However as the 1198 needs a service and I have no money to service her atm I am struggling to be able to justify going over with them so i might just do this instead as it'll be cheaper.

 

We're in! I've just seen the e-mail about booking a plot - anyone done this?

Are people camping over and then headed to Grill N Chill?

 

I might tag along, tis only 10 miles from me, wont be camping tho' Be dark early tho by then!

Also - they are going to put us down for club space (assuming enough of us are going)...
