brought a ford.its been a dream for a long time but have got one.its a Ford capri 280 brooklands .quite a rare car. looked up and down the country for years for the right one and now found it.

 

I don't think that's a sin. I think they have aged really well

You'll have a lot of fun owning it. Looks really tidy.

 

Very nice, I love the MK1's & Mk2's but not a fan of the MK2's.
E-reg is obviously a Mk3 & a very late one. I did see a G-eg one once & a couple of F's. E-reg 1988 is officially the last year of reg.

Dude that is by no means a sin, I love capris! First car I ever got excited about was my friends dads 2.0 lazer in black with red pin stripes 8)

There's one near me that has a tickford style body kit on it in white looks a bit of a nail but I can't help but slow down every time I go past it.

 

Now THAT is low milage! only ever used for a couple of years? have you already done your magic on the cleaning and detailing because it looks very very clean!?

 

Old skool Fords are very in. Keep it up. Love the Capri and that one you have is stunning. Look after it

I really like that - looks like a killer buy and you may well be the coolest person in your local - mint VW bus and mint Ford Capri.

Urgently get some security on it - we all know how naff Fords of that era were with keys etc.

That's a beauty, very low miles, bit more poke than the standard 1600GT black vinyl roof, rostyle wheel job i had when i was 22. Very nice buy They do have something about them capri,s. 8)

whats the story then? you dont just get a sub 3k miles car on ebay!!
has it been locked away somewhere? the interior is like new.
i think you might of been had, that tax is out of date
whats your plan? drive it? use it as a daily or keep it for sunday afternoons?
