now reading through this, it appears that visors are yayy/nayy piece of "bling"

@charlene have you contacted NLA VW to see if they have any fitting instructions they could supply or any suggestions..they may have an answer!

  5. Its like anything on a bus, there are many ways of doing a job ie. rivnuts, rivets, self tappers custom made lugs welded on etc etc they will all hold the useless ugly thing on :D however some of them may cause problems in future.

If the person fitting it has been doing restoration work (and is competent at it) on your bus i'm sure he will try and fit it in a way that wont damage your bus or cause it future problems.

Just tell him if he drills any holes to paint the bare metal and if possible run a little bit of sealant around the drilled holes before tightening down in an attempt to keep the water out (attempt being the key word!)

I don't mind the look of them on a really low bus, even those narrowed beams look cool but i would never do either to mine!

Your new profile pic looks scarily similar to one of my friends, she is a 6ft 2" giant version though!

  6. I think theyre cool!

but then I also have a sidestep on a lowered bus (pointless), a radio flyer and a vintage pepsi cooler (scene) so my taste may be viewd as questionable lol

You look much better without the facial piercings and the 15 stones btw :)

  10. I had one when it came with the bus, it looked great and I had the side step. But over the last 3 years the impracticalness of it was to much to take eg could not see the traffic lights change, fuel consumption is a little better and the bugs it collect's. So enjoy it why you have it  let us know when it come off :hattip:
