The fly catcher I had I had to drill two holes in each pillar.

The ones I've seen are drilled through the seam that runs up the A-Pillar.
One of the reasons I wouldn't fit one!
Mine had had one at one point in history and I had to repair a rotten A-Pillar...

  4. Oh!! Crap!

never had a close look at them but this one appears to be held on with a G clamp!
ask NLAVW or maybe @Alex VW Heritage ?

  15. I know the guys at NLAVW used to make some nice heavy duty suction clamps...maybe they could develop something similar for their Visors....

  16. Well I've got a new side step I was gonna fit as I thought my other had fallen off (it was at the garage) but I think they look better without now ,never mind :)

  17. In the pic, where the two fasteners are (assuming they're blind rivets) you could drill out the A panel and fit M6 rivnuts... bolt thru with flush socket heads....just a thought

  18. I'll pass that on to our fella doing the jobs but I'm still thinking maybe eBay ?!
