she is sat by me on the sofa, seems ok at the moment, it's the loud bangs she don't like the whistley ones just make her look up

  3. My dogs is sat by my side in my office, still working you see, I can hear some fireworks but she doesn't seem to have noticed them, she is a Springer (albeit Welsh) and when we have been to country fairs we have always been over to the clay pigeon shooting and sat there listening to the shotguns. Just lucky I suppose.

  5. sorry to hear that :(

  6. One of ours completely ignored them, even going outside to pee when they were going off. Our new rescue dog was like "WTF was that" everytime one went off. :(

Camper gained another direct hit from a rocket last night too so needs some paint touching up.

  7. The Anxiety Reducing Shirt is helping, she didn't shake so much but still pushed herself as close to us as she could. How many more nights of this! still have the weekend to get through. It's time the council and government did something to limit the time permitted to let off these fireworks, its a strain on the fire service and the nhs, just don't hold a meeting in The Houses of Parliament. !

  9. Makes sense to increase the age of purchase to say 25 as opposed to 18.

    The link lists them all.
Pointless law anyway as it'll never be enforced.

  11. Do they make a human sized one? I could have done with it last night.

  12. I would just like a Weight reducing shirt!

  15. 8 nights it lasted by the end of it Milo the dog would not go outside at all unless carried and stood with, despite being dosed up with both Adaptil and Zylkene (both pretty harmless). On past experience it will take another 2 weeks for him to recover. Grrr.............

  16. Same as our little cocker spaniel, heard no fireworks last night for the first time, but still have this weekend and new years eve to go. If only the very 'bomb bangs' were stopped it would help animals and aged people who remember the real bombs going off in WW2! Where is health and safety on these fireworks! We are now told no 'plastic flowers' in reception as this a fire hazard but no control (over 18's) for buying explosives in a firework!

good luck all doggie people tonight we're out so dogs will have to fair for themselves with radio on loud (they will be in their travel cages to minimise stress/any accidents)
