As part of my engine bay fuel line refurb I noticed my firetec gauge was in the red and low .. not sure on how to re pressure as my compressor didn’t go to 13.5 bar I tried my emergency pushbike jobbie … worked perfect Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ok. Spill the beans. I’m in the same situation. Just air in a schrader valve? Or did you recharge with CO2?
I would imagine that should be recharged with CO2 or whatever your extinguishing agent is rather than just compressed air. CO2 is inert and essentially suffocates the fire by starving it of oxygen. compressed air contains oxygen which will feed the fire and make it worse. Of course I could be wrong as I have no experience with refilling these.
