fire damage bus returns

some of you may remember i had somewhat of a fire issue with my bus shortly after buying it and it end up like this

well today i fetch it back from brooksidevwaircooled

and now it looks like this





heres what it looked like before the fire


im in the process of refitting the interior now and other goodies so more pics to follow

Good to see it restored.
Good time to remind everyone that it is worn out soggy petrol hose that causes most fires. Have you checked yours?
Just replaced mine, it was a fire waiting to happen. Scarey

on order and the bus is off the road now for the winter

 

no dude once bitten twice shy and all that lol im not taking any chances now , im hoping to do a few shows this year to see how it goes then i want to do the vw festival on the isle of wight in august fingers crossed , these no reason why i shouldn t given the engine has been totally rebuilt

lol i remember how it going ... dude got loads of work to do one the bus inside none bought all the interior and trim upolstery etc. just got to find time to fit it all now shold look sweet for next season hopefully
