Yep, I took a Lion battery back in March that I bought less than a year ago. Got an Exide one for the same price off them.
Strangely, they're actually a bunch of bikers. In the back workshop they store about 15 choppers, Bobbers and custom bikes
They don't have a great reputation but I put one on my daughter's old Pug 107 (it was only £40!) and it was still going strong a couple of years later when she traded it in. Mind you I reckon a couple of AA batteries would turn the engine over in one of them
I use then, i also have an add on to my firefox browser called Honey. It searches for discount codes and applies them , it always finds one thats even cheaper than their own code.
Theres always the principle that when offered a range of products with the same spec you pick the second cheapest. Based on the idea that they know what price the competition is asking and they still have to ask more because their product cost more to manufacture. * except on eBay where they use algorithms to make the price go up if they sell a lot and its all the same carp anyway.
..never used them before but..I always used to get an oil filer off ebay..last year paid £9 or so..this year quick search..over 15 quid for a w920/14oh mamma mia!..so managed to find one somehow for 9 quid and waiting..after few days got refunded..no filter..no choice but yo pay that 15 quid..but thought lets try oncle google first..and then euro car parts pops up with w920/14 for...£4.69..and their brach is only a couple miles away..so after 10 minutes and a nice service I’ve got my oil filter for over 3 times less result Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
