My propex was fine in the bay, but with a diesel tank ready to fuel it I just went with that option. It works and I was warm last week, so that's good enough for me at the moment. I have no real preference so long as it works Dazza. I'll certainly moan if it doesn't
What do people do for servicing the systems? I've got a webasto petrol set-up fitted by Danbury when they converted the van - it worked ok for a while but now runs cold in fault mode. Webasto is a good mamufactuer but does have a few peculiarities.
I have the bn6 I'll tag u in the thread of how to install from scratch there amazing have to turn it down as u will melt ! Allso it fits into the original heater system so nothing it inside the bus and feeds off the tank Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Eberspachers are amazing heaters when running well. Due to the rather random nature of our lives we've been living in our T3 syncro at a garage in Wales for the last 12 days.... ....awaiting engine number 3 in as many weeks .... Anyway our B3L has run every day, for hours on end due to the weather. Compared to the propex in the bay it's a beast. But it's also more temperamental, harder to control, jet engine noisy, waaaay to hot and parts are eye wateringly expensive. I love it but had it not already been fitted to the bus then propex would be first choice. Yes they are more expensive new vs second hand or gifted eber/webasto but coupled with a refillable bottle the propex is much more user friendly. Depending on how much use it gets, @Bulletooth a propex may work out more cost effective in the long run. This mornings view from the door.
Very much so, I never got cold!!, propex is ok but I don’t think it would keep a bay toast warm in this weather
Ok bn4 arrived today and looks to be all there bar one central section of ductwork which i may be able to fab up, and the fuel pump wich i beleive is the same as bn2 and ba6 so anyone have one for sale maybe @davidoft ??
