    I some times get bored so I post up what I think it sounds like, so Alligator was alternator and amused me no end as I`m happiest when I`m chuckling at the key board. And good news about your starter not sticking. The thrust bearing is also known as the clutch release bearing or some such tripe. Its the bearing that sits on the fork in your bell housing and presses against your pressure plate through your cable and pedal and operates your clutch by putting pressure into the fingers in the middle of the plate and releasing pressure to the driven clutch plate. :)
