WANTED Engine for 76 camper

Hi there I'm after an engine, pref recon and turnkey, I have nothing but a gearbox, I need tinware, clutch and all ancillaries also engine bar if poss. 1600 as original fit. Message me if you know where there's a bargain

Your box is supported btw... no idea why someone thought straps were necessary, other than they weren't supported on early bays

Tinware is going to cost you... Type 1 engines have 2 large pieces of front and rear tin... be prepared to pay up to £150 per piece, as they are NLA and are in high demand for rust free/solid!!

 

What's your budget, your gonna be up near £2k for that

 

Bloody hell I was hoping for about a grand I have seen some for less but they have sold quick

 

Maybe for a used one, but not a recon with all the tinware

 

there was someone on earlybay selling a 1600 for £500 but no warranty etc.......
