I was thinking of tidying up the engine compartment, very tired after 34 years of use! Firstly spraying it with engine gunk, then having it steam cleaned. Then hand painting the interior "bodywork" parts with the same (orange) paint as per the outside. Then spraying the removed tinware black. The question is, do I need special heat-resistant paint? After all, it's not the engine itself, just the surrounds that I'll be painting. Thanks
